Marios Georgakis, MD, PhD
Marios is a clinician-scientist interested in the prevention of cerebrovascular disease. The overarching goal of his research is to use the big data produced by modern technologies to develop next-generation therapeutics and diagnostics for cerebrovascular disease. The lab is focused on (1) the discovery of novel drug targets by integrating omics data for cerebrovascular pathologies and (2) the development of AI tools for deeper vascular phenotyping.
